Advances in the HARMONIA Project Presented by Aitor Cubells at the SPIE Optics + Optoelectronics Conference

We are pleased to announce that Aitor Cubells Gómez, a SYM group researcher at the Interuniversity Institute for Molecular Recognition and Technological Development (IDM), Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), recently participated in the international conference SPIE Optics + Optoelectronics, held in Prague. This event is one of the most important global gatherings in the field of optics and optoelectronics.

Aitor presented his work carried out within the HARMONIA project, part of the PROMETEO program from the Generalitat Valenciana, and during his doctoral stay at the Centre for Industrial and Engineering Optics at the Technological University of Dublin (TU Dublin). His production, entitled “Advanced Hydrogel-Based Volume Holographic Gratings for Label-Free Biosensing”, was carried out in an oral presentation session and generated great interest among the attendees, highlighting the innovation and potential of his research in the field of molecular recognition and biosensor development.

Participation in SPIE Optics + Optoelectronics has been a valuable opportunity to share the project’s progress and make new contacts.
