HARMONIA's contributions to the XVIII-IWOSMOR

Members of the HARMONIA project have participated in the “XVIII International Workshop on Sensors and Molecular Recognition” (XVIII-IWOSMOR), the annual international congress of our institute, the Interuniversity Research Institute for Molecular Recognition and Technological Development, to present the latest advances in the framework of HARMONIA. During the event, our students shared the most recent results of our research through several presentations:

  • Poster entitled “VIBRIO VULNIFICUS FLUORESCENCE DETECTION COMBINING TAILORED AMPLIFICATION AND NUCLEIC ACID FUNCTIONALIZED HYDROGEL FILMS”, presented by Josué Lombeyda-Manzo.
  • Poster entitled “SEARCHING FOR ADVANCED MATERIALS FOR THE FABRICATION OF MICRONEEDLES TO EXTRACT DERMAL INTERSTITIAL FLUID”, presented by Pamela Chillagana.
  • Poster entitled “WEARABLE COLORIMETRIC BIOSENSOR FOR CALPROTECTIN MONITORING”, presented by Sofia Gonzalez-Moyano.
  • Oral communication entitled: “CRYSTALLIZATION PATTERNS AS A NEW STRATEGY FOR PROTEIN QUANTIFICATION” presented by Arturo Patrone-Garcia.
  • Oral communication entitled “FABRICATION OF VOLUME HOLOGRAPHIC GRATINGS IN PHOSPHORYLCHOLINEMODIFIED HYDROGEL THIN FILMS”, presented by Aitor Cubells-Gómez.
  • Poster entitled “PHASE MASK RECORDED GRATINGS IN BIOFUNCTIONALIZED SLIDING-RING HYDROGELS”, presented by Belén Ruiz-Picó.

Participation in this conference has been a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen collaborations, and show the impact of our work on the international scientific community.
